Mole Removal.

Moles are a common condition people tend to get rid off. Where you might think mole as a dark lumpy spot on your skin, it is rather deep-rooted, and its removal can be complex. At Cleo, we treat all types of moles with great care, as Dr Amna Ahmar herself performs all surgical procedures after considering the patient's complete medical history. The procedure type is determined after examining the mole, if the mole is skin surfaced it is usually scraped off without any stitches. Whereas, a longer surgical procedure is required to completely remove a deep-rooted mole.

Cauterization or cautery is a treatment recommended for skin tags, warts, and DPN. During the process, a direct or alternating electric current is passed through a resistant metal wire electrode, generating heat. The heated electrode is then applied to living tissue to achieve hemostasis or varying degrees of tissue destruction. Anaesthesia is given on the targeted areas to eliminate pain. Cautery is essential for burning out troublesome roots and skin pores. No stitches are required after cautery is performed but the skin is left to heal naturally. At Cleo, we offer several types of cautery procedures depending on your problem and requirement.

The biopsy is the process of removing skin tissues from a specific part of the body to further test it for bacteria and diseases. The process requires us to use needles and minor surgical lifts to remove skin tissues depending upon the affected area. At Cleo, we perform Needles Biopsy, Aspiration Biopsy and Skin Biopsy for complete diagnoses before running any procedures. A single biopsy procedure may take around 10 to 15 minutes depending upon the type of tissue being extracted as a sample. Biopsies are not merely done to diagnose cancer but are beneficial for diagnosing deep-rooted disease traces present in the body tissues.

Keloids may appear on the skin naturally or might be the result of uneven skin growth around the healed part after an injury. These are rubberlike outgrown skin segments darker in the shade which might be causing an unpleasant feeling of pressure or areas besides. Keloids might also be a result of stitches scar turned dark and pulpy. We can help in reducing the keloids non-surgically. At Cleo, the keloid treatments are performed by Dr Amna Ahmar herself after considering the patient's complete medical history and complications.

The asymmetric nose may cause breathing problems in the longer run. At Cleo, restructure and enhance nose shape with surgical and non-surgical procedures. Both types of nose reshaping leave no scars or stitches marks as are incisions are hidden inside the nose. The nose may require fillers, bone reshaping or fat deposits to achieve the desired shape and results. At Cleo, we believe in enhancing the look but only with a natural look, thus we keep the reconstruction minimal and according to the need. Once the process is complete, the nose is kept intact using gauges and splints for almost three weeks to avoid accidental contact. The surgery does not require a patient to stay at the clinic, the surgery although lasts for almost 3 hours.
At Cleo, we offer non-surgical nose reshaping as well. We use dermal fillers and Botox to shape up your nose.

Body Contouring.

If you are looking to tighten skin post-pregnancy, after weight loss or simply due to the ageing process, then our treatment could be perfect for you. The treatment takes between 30-60 minutes and has no downtime, causing only slight redness.
HIFU HIGH INTENSITY FOCUSED ULTRASOUND (ULTHERAPY) works on the Muscle Fascia (SMAS) deep below the skin. Instead of surgery, the HIFU harnesses ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin. What’s more, treatment takes just under an hour and results are seen immediately, while the improvements continue to be seen for up to 9 months as your collagen is renewed.
Four multi-depth cartridges directly transfer ultrasound energy into multiple layers of the treated area to trigger collagen renewal for tighter, younger complexion; while MMFU (micro-macro focused ultrasound) technology transfer an equal distribution of ultrasound energy into the subcutaneous tissue, applying high-intensity focused ultrasound at temperatures of 65-75°C.
This causes micro-coagulation and subcutaneous fat micro-reduction which in term creates the desired facelift, arm lift, tightens tummy skin, thigh and contours buttocks. Dr Amna Ahmar reviews the skin condition and uses the appropriate depth for each treatment area.
Ultrasound technology is completely safe and has been used in medicine for decades; it works by contracting and shortening muscle fibres, which causes the lifting and tightening effect.
We also offer Radio Frequency Skin Tightening procedures.
